This website is a large project developed for storing technology tutorials created for classes I teach. Currently it’s only housing an introductory home page and tutorials for Inkscape, but eventually it will hold tutorials for Java, Audacity, C#, Gimp, Python, Computer Literacy, and more. The intent is for this website to hold additional resources for students to get help and instruction when they’re not in the classroom.
This content is not an LMS, but is more of an “additional resources” website where I can refer students for help, or where students can go for self-guided learning. A student who really wants to learn how to color in Inkscape doesn’t need to go through a specific sequence of tutorials first, they can jump straight to it without waiting for the instructor to bring the whole class to that point.
This artifact really highlights standard 2.2, where an emphasis is on developing a technology-enriched environment that encourages students to be self-learners.
